Give the Gift of Education: Support My Strides for Literacy! I am stepping up for education with the India Literacy Project’s (ILP) Strides for Literacy! Over the next 8 weeks, I am committed to walking and running 200 miles to bring hope and opportunity to children in rural India. For these students, the path to an education is often daunting and resource-poor.  I am moving my feet so they can move toward a brighter future. Why Your Support Matters In 2025, ILP reached over 2.5 million students across 10 states, delivering quality education for less than $2 per student. This year, the focus of the ILP’s Strides program is on a critical foundation: Reading Skills through ILP’s child friendly Library program. Some highlights: 
  • Small Gift, Big Impact: Just $500 funds an entire library program, improving reading skills for 500 children.
  • The GROWBY Method: ILP uses a color-coded system (Green to Yellow) that lets children advance at their own pace, making literacy fun and achievable.
  • Engaging Spaces: We transform government schools with vibrant, painted library spaces and trained support staff.
The Overall Goal: Schooling, Learning, & Earning Your donation helps ILP enroll children in school, enhance their learning through innovative tools, and eventually develop clear career paths.
